Custom modern coastal residence set within a serene valley landscape, composed of simple agrarian forms that programmatically separate open public spaces from intimate private retreats. Rooted in vernacular barn architecture, the home balances warm natural materials with a refined modern expression, creating a timeless response to coastal living.
Project was designed by Niche Design Group, a residential architecture firm working throughout Southern California including Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, and the greater San Diego region. The firm provides full architectural services for custom homes, renovations, and ADU design, & transforming existing residences.
